REMA Releases its 400A Passive-Cooled CCS Coupler and 600A Liquid-Cooled CCS Connectors for High-Power DC Fast Charging
REMA is proud to announce the introduction of its UL-certified, Build America, Buy America® (BABA) compliant CCS-1 High-Power DC Fast Charging Connector models: 400kW Passive-Cooled and 600kW Liquid-Cooled. These two innovative products further expand REMA’s portfolio of AC and DC EV charging connectors, reaffirming its commitment to meeting the growing needs of the electric mobility industry, improving the customer experience with reduced charging times, enhanced CPO system uptime, and reducing system operating costs.
The 400A Passive-Cooled CCS-1 Connector includes multiple UL-certified operating modes, including: 400A continuous current rating in 40°C ambient environments; 350A continuous current rating in 50°C ambient environments, fixed boost modes up to 500A, and Dynamic Current Control mode with charging power exceeding 500kW. This solution maximizes charging efficiency while maintaining durability and performance under demanding conditions.
The 600A Liquid-Cooled CCS-1 Connector introduces an advanced integrated cooling architecture that efficiently manages heat at higher current levels. This feature ensures fast charging while maintaining a compact, flexible, and ergonomic design, capable of supporting continuous charging up to 600kW, with boost up to 750kW.
